Since 1891 the Scottish Bakers has represented and promoted the interests of the bakery trade in Scotland. The Association believes that it is an integral part of each members business operation. As such it can be called upon to provide a valuable source of advice, information, assistance and encouragement.
Most importantly Scottish Bakers belongs to its members. It is there for their benefit and protection and at all times lives up to its motto:

What we offer
Today Scottish Bakers has over 500 members organised into a network of six regional branches. Each member is able to access a wide range of professional services and benefits. These include
• Advice on wage rates and other conditions of employment through the Scottish Bakers involvement in the collective bargaining machinery for the Industry.
• Guidance on employment law
• Information on technical and legislative developments
• A wide range of training activities involving the Association's team of training advisers. These range from Skillseeker programmes for young people to European Social Fund schemes for adults.
• A route to access and influence the Scottish Executive, the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Enterprise Network and the Food Standards Agency Scotland.
• The opportunity to network through our Annual Conference, business seminars and social activities.
