Bakkavör is a global player in the provision of chilled food and produce around the world, employing almost 20,000 people across ten different countries. It produces a vast range of added value products for a variety of categories from soups and sauces and convenience ready meals to fresh salads, chilled desserts and bakery products. These products - which split largely into three categories - hot eating, cold eating and produce - are produced for multiple retail grocery chains across the world. In fact, Bakkavör trade with seven out of ten of the global retailers with the UK being Bakkavör's largest marketplace.

Employing the right people at all levels is critical to the success of the Bakkavör Group as is on-going Training and Development. Key to resourcing are Bakkavör's Five Values: Customer Service, Can Do Attitude, Team Work, Innovation and Efficiency. Applicants are assessed against these values for all roles whether Production/Engineering Supervisor or Manufacturing/Engineering Manager; NPD Technologist or Development Manager; QA Supervisor or Technical Manager. Careers are built by graduates as well as shop floor employees who understand and work well with the Bakkavör Values, whether they are in manufacturing or administrative roles or Central functions such as Finance and HR.

Bakkavör retains Focus Management Consultants to assist with the recruitment of its senior management on an exclusive basis. Focus also provides resourcing support for junior to middle management and its sister business, Carrus, is responsible for recruiting candidates for the Bakkavör Accelerated Management Scheme. A further division, Check On! plays a key role in sourcing high calibre Development Chefs to innovate and produce creatively commercial products that will excite both the retailers and their consumers. For sites needing extra help on projects, Focus Interim provides experienced interim managers across all disciplines but particularly Interim Technical Managers, Interim NPD Managers, Interim Production Managers and interim HR Managers.
