Based just of the motorway network and easily commutable from Preston, Blackpool and Blackburn we are working alongside one of the UK's largest food packaging manufacturing companies. They have a requirement for a Mechanically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer based from their expanding factory.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager on site our candidate will have experience working on a range of process machinery ideally in the FMCG industry like Food, Beverage or secondary pharmaceutical. You will be responsible for the reactive and planned maintenance of the factory ensuring that downtime is kept to a minimum.
You will be an apprentice trained engineer qualified to minimum ONC level in Mechanical Engineering. Your application would be helped with understanding lean manufacturing techniques but this isn't essential.
Our candidate will receive a salary of upto £35,000 + benefits for working on a continental 4 on 4 off 2 Days & 2 Nights shift.
