Our client is a leading household brand name in Ethnic Food & Ingredients with successful operation in the U.K. for over 40 years. Located in Buckingham in their modern facility which offers a pleasant work environment they are looking to add strength to their buying team. They seek a street smart, experienced buyer with good negotiations and communication skills. Our Product range covers Lentils, Pulses, Beans, Spices, Rice, Flours, Nuts and Dried Fruits, Canned Food Products, Food Ingredients.

You will have at least 2 years buying experience in a similar capacity in the Food Industry. Good product knowledge and exposure to a similar range of products is an advantage.

Your job is to effectively manage buying activities for the portfolio of products you are responsible for; in the most cost effective and profitable manner, ensuring regular un-interrupted availability of bulk and pre-packed products; minimising overstock situations and write-offs; thus enabling the company to meet sales, cost and profit targets.
