Milk Link Acquires Cornish Country Larder
British dairy firm Milk Link has acquired specialist cheese maker Cornish Country Larder (CCL).
CCL has a turnover of £9.1m ($14.4m) and a manufacturing capacity of around 800t of cheese a year.
The company supplies major retailers including Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco along with independent outlets.
Milk Link, which has not disclosed the transaction value, handles more than 1.4 billion litres of milk a year.
